The Metronome
Support
A warm, precise metronome for practicing musicians.
The Metronome is built to be simple and reliable. If something isn't working the way you expect, most answers are below — and you can always email us directly.
I don't hear anything.
Make sure your device isn't on silent/mute and the volume is up, then press Start once — browsers and iOS require one tap before audio can play. If you use the Time-Feel or loop features, allow microphone access when prompted.
Why does it ask for the microphone?
Only the Time-Feel Inspector and the loop recorder use it, to listen to your timing. The audio is analyzed live on your device and is never recorded or sent anywhere. See our Privacy Policy.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once loaded, the metronome runs without a connection.
My presets or practice history disappeared.
Those are stored on your device. Clearing the app's data, using private/incognito mode, or reinstalling will reset them.
How do I report a bug?
Email rotemsivantrio@gmail.com and tell us what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. The three things that make a bug findable fastest: your device and iOS version, the tempo and time signature you were on, and whether you were on speakers, wired headphones or Bluetooth — Bluetooth adds a delay of its own, and that alone explains a lot of timing reports. The app sends us nothing on its own; see our Privacy Policy.
The tempo only goes up to 300 BPM.
That's intentional — the usable range is 1–300 BPM. You can type a number, drag the dial, use the +/- steps, or tap the tempo.
